'Slow burn: Sheffield’s Fringe COP'
The highest priority of RosaSenCis Film Production Company is to promote effective initiatives that serve the areas that need them most. We believe in taking action with urgency in a creative, ethical and equitable manner in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society, like the climate crisis, racial, spatial and social justice.

WHO WE ARE
Our Roots: Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. From the moment we started our work in 2012, we understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch RosaSenCis Film Production Company. We strive to make a positive change in all of our pursuits.
The FRINGE COP28 asks ‘What Can We Do in Sheffield?’ and highlights co-created examples that brings together individuals and organisations that wouldn't usually meet and work alongside one another. This project will help realise our ambition of challenging the elitist and oppressive structures of COP28, as the previous COPs have been built on political agendas that are dishonest, exclusionary and dismissive of minority community grassroots voices. The project will curate events across the city with a focus on the City Centre and Page Hall area, and showcase artwork from the various community members and schools, invite local artists and researchers to share their work on climate justice, while giving space for scientific knowledge to be communicated and debated.

PARTNERSHIP.... ROOTS.... KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE
It is incredible how one small idea can grow into something truly special. RosaSenCis Film Production Co. & UoS Centre for Equity and Inclusion is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference in our community.
With a variety of active projects the UoS's Centre for Equity & Inclusion has funded Knowledge Exchange projects which focus on racial justice and are co-produced by its partner organisations and University of Sheffield postgraduate researchers (PGRs) of colour.
